Every cable comes in the box for a computer with a USB-A port and a camera with a 3.5 mm mic input. A USB-C-only computer needs a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a phone without a headphone jack needs a 3.5 mm adapter for the VideoMicro II.

Wireless Micro: plug the receiver into your USB-C phone, clip a transmitter on, open the camera app and record.
NT-USB Mini: USB-C to the computer, no driver. Headphones into its jack for zero-latency monitoring. For voice, keep the mic less than six inches from your mouth.
VideoMicro II: slide it into the camera's cold shoe and plug the included 3.5 mm cable into the camera's mic input. For a phone, use the included TRRS cable. No battery, nothing to switch on.
Record a ten-second test and listen back before every shoot.
Share it: with its receiver plugged in, the Wireless Micro also works in other camera apps, so you can record straight into the app you post from.
