How it connects, step by step
- Clamp a PSA1+ arm to the table for each host (up to 70 mm, about 2.75 in, thick) and mount a PodMic USB on each. An XLR cable from each into the Duo's two combo inputs. Leave 48 V phantom power off; the PodMic USB does not need it.
- Wireless GO (Gen 3): on the Duo, choose Wireless on a channel and tap Pair New Device, then short-press the Ø button on each transmitter. No receiver cable, and each transmitter can also record a 32-bit float backup on board (press its record button, or set recording to Always in RØDE Central).
- USB-C from the Duo to the computer for a stream or a recording. Or record straight to a microSD card and skip the computer.
- Each host gets a headphone output on the Duo with its own volume knob: NTH-100 into the 1/4-inch jacks with the adapter in its box, one pair per person.
- Bluetooth pairs a phone for call-in guests; set the Bluetooth output to Mix-Minus (Settings > Outputs > Routing) so the caller does not hear their own voice echoed back.
- Share it: for recordings on the microSD card, open the free RØDECaster App (Mac or Windows), click Transfer Recordings, choose your podcast platform's export preset and click Export.
