DJM-V5

Description

The DJM-V5 is AlphaTheta's compact 3-channel DJ mixer, 302 mm (11.89") wide. Each channel has a compressor, a 4-band EQ inherited from the DJM-V10 and a 60 mm long-throw fader from the DJM-V10-LF, and the mixer adds six Send FX, three filter types including a new cross-pass filter, and a built-in SonicLink transmitter for wireless monitoring. PRO DJ LINK connects it to the CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000 and rekordbox for BPM-synced effects and Link Cue. A USB Type-C port for PC/Mac runs djay Pro, rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro including DVS, and a second MULTI I/O USB Type-C port connects an iPhone, iPad or USB effects unit.

• 4-band EQ (HI, HI MID, LOW MID, LOW) on each channel, inherited from the DJM-V10
• 60 mm long-throw channel faders from the DJM-V10-LF, with a new Soft Mix Curve that gently reduces high frequencies as the incoming track is raised

• Six Send FX (Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, PingPong, Echo-Verb) on a dedicated send knob per channel, with a time knob that combines BPM sync and smooth adjustment

• Built-in SonicLink transmitter for ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring, paired by button press or NFC touch
• PRO DJ LINK and Link Cue with the CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000 and rekordbox, with a dedicated Link Cue volume knob
• USB Type-C (PC/Mac) for djay Pro, rekordbox for Mac/Windows and Serato DJ Pro, including DVS (djay Pro and Serato DJ Pro licenses sold separately)
• MULTI I/O USB Type-C for iPhone and iPad (DJM-REC and RMX-1000 for iPad apps) and USB effects units such as the RMX-IGNITE
• Send/return insert for external effects units, and full assignable MIDI control
• Signal path tuned to the sound character of the DJM-V10, with high-quality converters through the master, booth, send and REC outputs
