Is it right for you?
Electro-Voice's supercardioid dynamic vocal mic for big, loud rooms, with a humbucking coil and a 30 Hz to 17 kHz close response.
Great for
- Lead vocals on large, loud stages
- Festivals and large houses of worship
- Rooms with strong reflections
Description
The ND86 is a supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone for loud, large stages. The supercardioid pattern gives tight pickup control and isolation from stage sound, and the large Mylar diaphragm responds from 30 Hz to 17 kHz up close. A four-point shockmount with a tuned pneumatic pump reduces handling noise, and a humbucking coil rejects hum.
Key Features
- Supercardioid pattern for tight pickup control and isolation
- Large Mylar diaphragm with a close response from 30 Hz to 17 kHz
- Four-point shockmount and tuned pneumatic pump for low handling noise
- Memraflex grille, hydrophobic membrane and humbucking coil
- Floating ID collar turns freely until tightened, so the logo can face forward
