Description

The YCM705 is a side-address cardioid condenser microphone for music production, live streaming, and video recording at home, built around a custom 1" large-diaphragm, DC-biased capsule with a gold-sputtered dual diaphragm. A three-step pad (0/-10/-20 dB) raises maximum SPL from 120 dB to 140 dB for loud sources such as drums, brass, and piano, and a switchable low-cut filter (80 or 160 Hz) reduces low-frequency noise such as air-conditioner rumble. It requires 48 V phantom power, and a shock mount and pop filter are included. Available in black or white.
