Is it right for you?
A two-input USB-C audio interface: two mic preamps with 48 V phantom power, so a vocal and a guitar record at the same time.
Great for
- Recording a vocal and a guitar at once
- A stereo pair of mics on piano or acoustic guitar
- Home studios with monitors and a sub
Description
The UR22MK3 is a 2-in/2-out USB-C audio interface with two mic/line combo inputs and +48 V phantom power for a stereo pair of microphones, plus a guitar jack on input 2 for an electric guitar or bass. Record a vocal on input 1 and a guitar at the same time; plugging into the guitar jack turns off the MIC/LINE 2 combo input. It records and plays back at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, has direct monitoring (mono or stereo) and a loopback function for live streaming, and comes with Cubase AI and Steinberg Plus license cards. It is bus-powered from a computer, with a separate USB-C power input for iPhone/iPad use.
Key Features
- 2 mic/line combo inputs with +48 V phantom power
- Guitar (Hi-Z) jack on input 2; using it turns off the MIC/LINE 2 combo input
- 24-bit/192 kHz recording and playback over USB-C
- Direct monitoring sends the inputs straight to the line and headphone outputs without going through the computer; mono or stereo monitoring selectable
- Loopback mixes your mic/guitar with computer playback and sends it back to the computer for live streaming
- Separate main and headphones volume controls
- Mute switches on both inputs
- Bus-powered from a computer over USB-C; a separate 5 V DC IN USB-C port takes a USB power adapter or battery (not included) for devices that do not supply enough bus power, such as iPhone/iPad
- Works with iPhone/iPad (Apple accessories may be required; Lightning models need the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter)
- Cubase AI and Steinberg Plus license cards included
- Available in black or white
