Is it right for you?
Yamaha's supercardioid dynamic vocal mic: it rejects unwanted background sounds even more efficiently, with a 60 Hz to 18 kHz response.
Great for
- Singers on loud stages with wedge monitors
- Bands fighting feedback
- Vocals that need more top end than the YDM505 reaches
Description
The YDM707 is a supercardioid dynamic microphone from Yamaha's YDM series for performers and content creators. Its tighter pickup pattern rejects more background sound than the cardioid YDM505 models, and its response extends higher, to 18 kHz (60 Hz–18 kHz, versus 60 Hz–15 kHz for the YDM505). An insulator made from proprietary materials reduces handling noise and vibration, and the metal body has silver rings at the top and bottom of the grip. Available in black or white.
